This policy describes what Xoral — the chat, Xoral CLI and model answers — can't be used for. It supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all users.
1. Illegal activity and harm to people
Don't use Xoral to:
- break the law or help others do so;
- plan violence or terrorist acts, threaten people or incite violence;
- create, or seek information for creating, weapons capable of mass harm: chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear;
- create any material that sexualizes minors;
- encourage self-harm or suicide;
- traffic people, drugs or other prohibited goods.
2. Cybersecurity
Don't create malware, attack other systems, access them without permission, probe for vulnerabilities without the owner's consent, or help others do so.
Allowed: defending your own systems, penetration testing under an agreement with the owner, CTF challenges, and studying security for educational purposes.
3. Fraud and manipulation
Don't use Xoral for:
- fraud, phishing, forged documents;
- spam and bulk messaging without recipients' consent;
- fake reviews and artificial engagement;
- impersonating another person or organization;
- disinformation campaigns and election interference.
4. Other people's rights and privacy
Don't use Xoral for:
- harassment, threats, hate speech;
- surveilling people, or collecting and publishing their personal data without consent;
- creating intimate content depicting real people without their consent;
- infringing copyright or other intellectual property rights.
5. High-risk decisions
Don't use Xoral's answers as the sole basis for decisions that seriously affect people's lives, health, freedom, jobs or money: medical, legal, financial or hiring decisions. A qualified person must review and make such decisions.
6. Abuse of the Service
Not allowed:
- bypassing limits, including by using several accounts;
- reselling or sharing access and keys;
- scraping the Service or loading it outside the website and Xoral CLI;
- trying to get around the models' safety restrictions;
- attacking Xoral or trying to access other people's accounts.
7. What we do about violations
Depending on how serious a violation is, we may warn you, restrict features, temporarily suspend, or block your account and Xoral CLI keys. If a violation involves a threat to people's lives or material that sexualizes minors, we'll report it to the competent authorities.
8. How to report a violation or vulnerability
If you come across a violation of this policy or find a vulnerability in Xoral, write to support@xoral.si. Please don't disclose vulnerabilities publicly until we've fixed them.
